Their concept is built around a distinctive way to display time, taking inspiration from vintage measuring instruments. The Teifenmesser Sea Hornet 43mm references submarine equipment, boasting industrial-style markings similar to that of gauges in post-war American styles. The timepiece features a black PVD-coated stainless steel case with a satin finish, a screw-down crown, an anti-reflective sapphire crystal face, an automatic movement, a 5 ATM water resistance, a black dial with yellow markings and a black leather strap with a steel butterfly folding clasp. Complications include retrograde minutes, a jumping hour and a 36-hour power reserve indication.
